Lila Vance came to aesthetic medicine by way of clinical nursing — twelve years of hospital practice, followed by board certification as a nurse practitioner, followed by the slow realization that the most meaningful care she offered was always the care that helped people feel at home in their own skin.
She trained directly under some of the most respected aesthetic practitioners in the Northeast, completed advanced injection training at the Esthetic Skin Institute, and has since built a practice defined not by volume but by consideration. Every treatment plan at Marina is written from scratch. No standing orders, no house protocols, no one-size approach.
Dr. Vance works predominantly with natural-looking results — her philosophy holds that the best outcome is the one no one notices, except the person receiving it. Skin health, not correction. Confidence, not alteration.
She lives in Garden City with her husband and two daughters, and continues to consult in clinical nursing two days each month, a practice she maintains to stay grounded in the medicine.
