Officite Alternative for Long Island Dental Practices
Officite puts you on a rented template, charges $90/month just for hosting, and locks you into annual contracts. There's a better option — custom-built, code you own, cancel anytime.

The case against staying on Officite
You don't own the site
Officite's templates are licensed, not owned. If you cancel, the site disappears. Every page, every patient inquiry you've captured, every SEO equity you've built — gone. A Garbacki Digital site is custom-coded and delivered to you. Cancel and the code is still yours.
The support experience is documented to be poor
G2 and Capterra reviews for Officite consistently cite slow support, difficulty reaching anyone, and template limitations that can't be addressed without custom development charges. "100% outdated" is the phrase that appears repeatedly. With Garbacki Digital, you're calling the developer directly.
You're paying for SEO separately — or not at all
Officite's base hosting fee doesn't include SEO. Meaningful SEO packages from them run $500–$5,000/month. Every Garbacki Digital site ships with on-page SEO, structured data, and a Google Business Profile setup included at no extra charge.
No AI chatbot option
Officite doesn't offer an AI chatbot that captures leads after hours. The Standard and Pro plans from Garbacki Digital include a chatbot trained on your practice — answering insurance questions, routing appointment requests, and collecting contact info at 2am when the phones are off.
Common questions about switching
Can you migrate my existing Officite content?
Yes. I'll transfer your services list, team bios, photos, and any other content you want to keep. The new site is built from scratch — not a template — so we start with what you have and make it better.
Will I lose my Google rankings when I switch?
Not if we do it correctly. I set up proper 301 redirects from your old URLs to the new ones and submit an updated sitemap to Google. Your search history transfers. A well-built replacement site typically holds or improves rankings within a few weeks.
How long does it take to switch?
For most dental practices, a new site is live in 5–7 business days. Switching away from Officite is no different — I handle the content transfer, the new build, and the domain swap.
Do I need to break my Officite contract?
That depends on your agreement with them. Month-to-month subscribers can cancel immediately. Annual subscribers should review their contract terms. Once your new site is ready, I can host it on a temporary URL until you're ready to go live.
What happens to my online booking system?
If you're using a booking widget through Officite, we evaluate whether to keep your existing provider (most have embeddable widgets that work on any site) or set up a simpler alternative. Nothing breaks during the switch.
